How To Register As ICAN ATSWA Student For November 2020 Exam
The Accounting Technicians Scheme West Africa (ATSWA) programme is designed to produce middle level Accounting Technicians within the West African sub-region.
The objectives are to:
- provide a recognised qualification for the accounting and auditing staff employed in the public sector, industry, commerce and in various offices or practicing accountants
- help meet the need for middle level accounting personnel in the economy especially for the accounting and finance departments of various government agencies and corporations.
The ATSWA syllabus is divided into 3 parts and each part consists of four (4) subjects.
AAT Certificate is awarded upon successfully completing the Accounting Technicians Scheme of West Africa (ATSWA) Examinations.
The duration for the completion of the 3 level examination is a minimum of 12 months for those with ordinary level certificate and 6 to12 months for those with higher certificate but not a degree certificate.
Here are the simple steps required for ICAN ATSWA registration:
1. Firstly, you have to obtain pin voucher from any commercial bank with N6,000 on paydirect platform (bank charges exclusive). The N6000 is the price of the pin voucher as at the time this post was published, we will update us if there is any change in price.
2. Follow the instruction that is written on the pin voucher and log on to www.icanonline-ngr.com/paydirect
3. Use the PIN & Serial number generated to complete the application online.
4. Scan your colored passport photograph on the form.
5. After completion of the form, double click to submit the application online.
6. Print out a copy of the application form after registration and sign together with your referee.
7. Submit your completed hard copy form with the following documents:
- Original copy of the pin voucher
- A passport photograph
- A self addressed envelope with postage stamp affixed on it.
- Original copy of the bank teller.
- Certified copies of academic & birth certificate/sworn affidavit
- Some certified copies of WAEC/NECO Certificate Or Computer Print out where you are using Statement of result, OND, NCE
- Marriage certificate & newspaper advert is very necessary for married women for verification
